Sonic The Hedgehog Genesis (Game Boy Advance)
The original Sonic The Hedgehog that busted the speed barrier wide open on the SEGA Genesis® is coming to the Game Boy® Advance with exciting new features! For the first time, you’ll be able to save your high scores and progress as you rocket through the seven gravity-defying stages that started it all. After you outrun Dr. Robotnik and his badniks in Original Mode, race through the famous loop-de-loops even faster with Sonic’s trademark Spin Dash in Anniversary Mode which celebrates Sonic’s 15th birthday. This special 15th Anniversary Edition also brings tunes from the original soundtrack which you can unlock as you finish the stages
Playing alone as Sonic, the player must complete a total of six zones, each
containing three 'acts', while attempting to collect at least 50 Rings to open the
Special Stage entrance at the end of the level. Completing the Special Stage will give the player one
Chaos Emerald - That's one for each zone, until eventually, the player will
face of against Dr. Robotnik in the Final Zone.
The game can be completed without collecting the Chaos Emeralds, but only
when all Emeralds are collected can the Player see the 'Good' ending.
