Silver the Hedgehog

Silver is a futuristic Hedgehog from another time. Nobody knows what exact time in the future he comes from, but at this time the future is nothing but a wasteland where all is in despair. This is because of a monster called Iblis, that has turned the world into a crisis. Silver is a friend of Blaze the Cat, and shares a close brother and sister-like relationship with her. In SONIC the Hedgehog '06, (his very first game) Silver's daily schedules involve him and Blaze stopping Iblis everytime he rises up again. Later, Silver meets a dark Hedgehog known as 'Mephiles', who tells Silver that the future's state was caused by the "Iblis Trigger"... who was none other than Sonic the Hedgehog. In SONIC the Hedgehog '06 and Sonic Rivals, his game objective was to go back in time and correct the future. Though, as well as Blaze, Silver also meets Amy Rose and become amigos in the game. Each trying to find Sonic, for completely different reasons. Silver has a strong sense of justice, which leads him into travelling back into the past to correct the future. Silver is a young and immature hedgehog, but is seemingly serious time to time. He is sometimes dependent on Blaze and gets insecure when he's not accompained by her. Blaze claims Silver as a very naive person, but it's part of his personality that she has always liked about him. Silver has the ability to levitate, using his telekinetic/psychokinesis abilities but is much slower than many of the characters in the series. He can use his powers in a numerous amount of ways. He can move objects, items and obstacles with his mind, and can either use them to throw at enemies, or arrange them in an order to walk across as a path. He is able to bending metal objects such as beams and prison bars. And he is also capable of using his powers to paralyse enemies, or bring enemy attacks (i.e. missiles and bullets) to a halt, and project them back at them. Like Sonic, and Shadow, Silver shares a super form known as Super Silver. His fur becomes a yellow-ish white/gold colour, and his abilities improve. Allowing the player to grab objects from a farther distance, and is also able to use charged dashes.

Did you know that when Sonic fans first saw Silver's design (before a proper script was comfirmed), some considered that Silver could possible be the offspring of Shadow the Hedgehog and Amy Rose? This idea was raised due to Silver's similarities to both characters such as, Silver's chest fur which resembles Shadow's. The dark areas around his eyes slightly resembles Shadows red areas around his eyes. And also, Amy's shoes slightly resemble Silver's.
