Blaze the Cat
Blaze the Cat is a princess from the future (In Sonic Rush she was said to be from an alternate dimension, but in SONIC the Hedgehog '06 it's corfimed she's from the future). She is the guardian of the Sol Emeralds, and has the ability to perform firery techniques. Blaze the Cat is friends with Silver, a futuristic hedgehog from her time and shares a brother and sister-like relationship with Silver.
In Sonic Rush, Blazes learns the true meaning of 'friendship' from Sonic and his friends (mainly from Cream). Blaze and Cream become companions in the game, (similar to Sonic and Tails) where Cream teaches her the value of friendship. In Sonic Rush, her main objective is to collect all 7 Sol Emeralds and save both hers and Sonic's dimension, though, in SONIC the Hedgehog '06, Blaze becomes a supportive character alongside Silver the Hedgehog to help him save the future from turning into a state of lost hope and dispair.
Blaze has a super form called 'Burning Blaze'. Using the power of the 7 Sol Emeralds, she transforms... turning her costume red, her gloves into flames, her skin/fur colour becomes a lighter more pink colour, and a Fire Force field is produced out of the energy of her and the emeralds. This is seen in Sonic Rush, in the Last Part to help Super Sonic defeat Dr. Eggman and Eggman Nega from taking over the universe.
It's unknown if whether Blaze will appear again, after sacrafising herself to seal Iblis away, transporting her into another dimension (SONIC the Hedgehog '06). Though, after earning the respect and liking of many Sonic fans, Blaze should somehow return into another Sonic Game. Who knows?
Blaze is disliked by some SonAmy supporters, due to Sonic's more friendly attitude towards Blaze than Amy?
